Get Involved as a Resident or Community Group
Thank you to everyone who completed our Community Mapping Survey. The survey has now closed, but you can still tell us what you think by giving us your thoughts and opinions on the draft LNRS. Please complete the questionnaire on the LNRS and we will consider your representations along with those made by others
Get involved as a Farmer or Landowner
By collaborating with farmers, land managers and local organisations, we want to take practical and achievable steps to go further for nature.
We want the LNRS to reflect farmers’ and landowners’ aspirations and ambitions, and we want it to open up opportunities to invest in nature and promote prosperity.
We believe there are many potential benefits to land being identified in the LNRS. At the same time, we respect farmers’ and landowners’ right to request that their land be removed from the local habitat map where it is not already protected for nature. See the FAQs section for guidance on how to request this, and note that there is a limited timeframe within which to make such requests.
