Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Local Nature Recovery Strategy
Welcome to the webpage of the Staffordshire and Stoke-On-Trent Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS), a legal framework for enhancing and restoring the natural environment in our area.
The LNRS is currently being developed by Staffordshire County Council along with all the district and borough councils in the area including Stoke-on-Trent City Council. We are also working in partnership with National Park authorities and Natural England.
This website will help you to understand all you need to know about the LNRS and how you can get involved with shaping it.
Help us with community mapping
There ‘s still time to help us collect key information from community groups involved in nature recovery within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent through a short survey.
Information will be uploaded to a map that will help visitors identify nature recovery initiatives in the region, connect with local groups, and find training and support opportunities.
If you are in a community group or know of one involved in nature recovery, click on the button to take the survey.
